Geog (this week)

New useful materials are constantly generated, hence you find that there seems to be a never-ending stream of materials coming your way. I hope you can take some effort to start sorting them out before revision for Prelims if you have not already done so. [lol.]

[IMPT] A reminder for tutorials this week: We will have timed practice for Globalisation essay, [9] and [16]. Our areas of focus will be TNCs and Role of the State only.

And possibly there will be notes for globalisation lecture this week, so bring some money thanks :D

week8 going to 9.

Now not much assignments/homework.
Maths please prepare for mock prelim paper 2 which is during maths remedial. There will be also a lecture test on sampling/ hypo and correlation. Not sure whether it will be on the first or second lecture.
GP/Econs/Phys nothing much except finish up remaining tutorials if you have not done so.

Please really do some revision for prelims. Time is Not on our side. However, if you have no idea on how to start on your weak points, try to consult the teachers or other classmates on what ARE those weak points.

Bear with the remaining time period. It's gonna be a period of high tensions till A levels so things may get a bit....touchy. If there is any negative emotions do try not to keep them in, let everything out to anybody. It helps. Unless you let it out on apathetic bums.

HW

Maths finish up correlation. Do TJC+ CJC papers. Timed practice and class test on hypothesis is most likely happening on monday.
Econs as usual.
Physics i think there might be mock prelim paper? Same for maths? Just come prepared bah. Correct this post if anything is wrong.
History -2008 ‘A’ Level H2: To what extent was the rise of religious fundamentalism in the Islamic world a reaction to Soviet/Russian and Western policies, in the period 1970 to 2000? Prepare for wednesday tutorial.

Impt: GEOG HW for next tutorial: prepare outline for essays (2007 H2 Geog OR, 2007 H1 Geog OR, 2008 H2 EITHER and OR)
And prepare hydro questions from the H2 midyear paper for next lecture.

-Do thesis statement for gp? " There is too much fear in the world today."Is this a fair assessment? Not too sure about it.
-Finish up hypothesis testing tutorial for maths.
-Got Tjc paper for last week and this week if wanna do.
-If possible start on Laser tutorial. Full of explanations.
-Nothing for econs except weekly assignments i think.
- No idea what h1 subjects have.
-Bring along signed result slip on monday. Crap, i forgotten who are the 9 that need to hand up. You know who you are.
